Scoil Sinéad is a Patron Body committed to creating inclusive, community-based schools across Ireland – places where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Scoil Sinéad Patron is a forward-thinking, inclusive educational body established to create schools where every child can reach their full potential. We believe that education should not only teach knowledge but build character, empathy, and resilience, preparing students to lead with confidence in their communities and the wider world.
Our schools are multi-denominational, inclusive, and community centred. We welcome students from all backgrounds and abilities, ensuring that every learner is seen, valued, and supported. Through strong collaboration with families, teachers, and local partners, Scoil Sinéad creates learning environments that celebrate diversity and nurture the individual strengths of each child.
Founded with a clear mission to advance inclusive education across Ireland, Scoil Sinéad is guided by a team of passionate educators and leaders who believe that every child has something unique to contribute. From our early learning programmes to our secondary schools, we place equal importance on academic growth, social and emotional development, creativity, and character formation.
We are proud to serve as Patron of schools that reflect these values – where students learn not just to succeed, but to care, to question, and to lead.
At the heart of Scoil Sinéad’s vision is a simple idea: education should open doors, build bridges, and empower every child to achieve their full potential.
Because the world our children will inherit is constantly changing, we build children for the unknown future – helping them grow with courage, adaptability, and purpose.
Scoil Sinéad works closely with the broader HOPE Autism Care Centre of services to ensure that inclusion is not just an ideal, but a lived experience across education, care, and community life. Together, we’re building a network of schools where every child can achieve their full potential, for life, not just for learning.

At Scoil Sinéad, strong governance is at the heart of how we lead, grow, and serve our school communities.
As a Patron Body, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability across every aspect of our work, from educational leadership to community partnerships and school management.
Our Patron Board brings together a team of experienced educators, professionals, and community leaders who share a common vision: to create inclusive, innovative, and values-driven schools where every child can reach their full potential.
Together, the board oversees the strategic direction, ethos, and educational standards of all Scoil Sinéad schools, ensuring alignment with the Department of Education’s requirements and the broader HOPE group mission of inclusion and lifelong learning.
Below you’ll find details of our Patron Board Members, including their roles, professional backgrounds, and areas of expertise. Each one plays a key part in guiding the growth and governance of Scoil Sinéad schools nationwide.
Scoil Sinéad’s journey began with a simple but powerful belief: that every child deserves a school where they belong, where their voice is heard, and where they can reach their full potential.
What started as a small group of educators and parents with a shared dream has grown into a recognised Patron Body shaping schools across Ireland, places where inclusion, creativity, and excellence meet every day.
Each milestone in our story reflects not only growth, but the deepening of our mission to ensure that education in Ireland truly serves every child.
“We began with five people and one vision, today, that vision continues to open doors for every child.”
Scoil Sinéad applied for the patronage of a new secondary school in Lucan, and was awarded trustee patron status alongside the Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board (DDLETB).
This marked the beginning of our journey as a recognised Patron Body in Irish education.
Building on that success, we applied for patronage of a new primary school in Pelletstown, Dublin 7, and were delighted to be awarded full patronage in May 2017 — following strong parental preference for Scoil Sinéad’s inclusive ethos.
This milestone led to the establishment of Scoil Sinéad Pelletstown NS, our first full patronage school, which continues to thrive as a model of inclusion and creativity.
Our schools expanded to include special classes for children with autism (ASD), ensuring that inclusion was not just an ideal but a daily lived experience.
We also deepened our partnerships with the HOPE Autism Care Centre, aligning educational and therapeutic supports for students and families.
Scoil Sinéad strengthened collaboration between primary and post-primary schools, supporting smoother transitions and shared professional learning across the education journey.
Our Six Pillars of Education framework was introduced, defining the ethos, values, and learning philosophy that guide every Scoil Sinéad school.
New partnerships were developed with educators and inclusion specialists nationwide, positioning Scoil Sinéad as a leader in inclusive, community-based education models.
Through the Back to Class Jamaica initiative, Scoil Sinéad extended its mission beyond Ireland — partnering with HOPE and Teach Learn Teach to rebuild schools and restore education in hurricane-affected Jamaican communities.
This marked a new era of international collaboration and compassion in education.
Today, Scoil Sinéad continues to grow as a Patron Body, supporting schools that reflect Ireland’s diversity and commitment to inclusion.
Our next chapter focuses on expanding access, deepening partnerships, and developing new centres for learning that prepare children for the world of tomorrow.
“From five members to a movement, we are shaping schools that shape the future.”
