Schools & Programmes

At Scoil Sinéad, community means connection. We believe that education is strongest when schools, families, and society work together to nurture every child. Our schools are more than buildings – they are safe, inclusive spaces where relationships grow and everyone belongs.

Further Education & Training

At Scoil Sinéad, education does not end at the school gates.
We recognise that young people follow different pathways, learn at different paces, and thrive in different environments. Our approach to Further Education and Training is rooted in inclusion, dignity, and lifelong learning.

Scoil Sinéad supports diverse post-school pathways that help young people transition into adulthood with confidence, purpose, and practical skills. We work in collaboration with partners, community organisations, and training providers to ensure that learners can access meaningful opportunities beyond primary and post-primary education.

Our Approach

Our Further Education & Training ethos focuses on:
Progression, not pressure

supporting learners to move forward at a pace that suits their strengths and needs.

Inclusive pathways

recognising that academic routes are not the only measure of success.

Real-world skills

developing independence, employability, and life skills alongside learning.

Partnership and collaboration

working with external providers to broaden access and opportunity.

We believe every young person deserves a pathway that values who they are and what they can become.

Pathways We Support

Through collaboration and signposting, Scoil Sinéad supports access to:
These pathways may include practical training, work experience, accredited courses, and supported learning environments that build confidence and independence.

Supporting Transitions

Transitions can be challenging, particularly for young people with additional needs or those who have struggled in traditional systems.
Scoil Sinéad places strong emphasis on:

Our goal is to ensure that young people do not feel “left behind” after school, but instead feel prepared, supported, and hopeful about their next steps.

 Looking Ahead

As Scoil Sinéad continues to grow, we are committed to expanding our partnerships and involvement in Further Education and Training initiatives that reflect our values of inclusion, community, and opportunity for all.

Education is a lifelong journey — and every pathway deserves respect.

Scoil Sinéad is currently developing new learning and training opportunities in collaboration with education and community partners.

These upcoming courses will focus on:
